My son is now doing his PhD (Senior Research Fellow) in Mechanical Engineering. He has been selected in a prestigious program between IIT Kharagpur and Curtin University, Australia. He is going to be awarded with Dual Doctoral Degree from both the premier institutes. He is almost at the end of his PhD. He may go for Post-Doc in any foreign countries in 2020 and may settle down there. Although he may settle down in India also.
He is currently in Australia and will be there till August 2020.
Earlier he passed his Master of Engineering from Jadavpur University and was employed in Public Works Department (GoWB) for 1 year 8 months. Later he left that job and went for Masters. He was also got offers from Ministry of Home Affairs and Indian Railways. But he didn't join.
He is loyal, soft spoken, down to earth. He loves literature and traditional cultures. Although he is fond of Western Cultures also. His hobbies are playing cricket, cooking different dishes,... more travelling and exploring new places, and sports.
I am a retired Railway Employee and his mother is a home-maker. He has a elder daughter who is married.
