Bios are supposed to be a reflection of the person you are, and not read like a resume. Here's my take on it:
Simple, fun-loving guy with principles. Looking for someone who loves eating, cracking stupid jokes, stargazing, is crazy snazzy, and is as obsessed a globetrotter as I am; should be someone with enough sass to stand up for herself when need be, but grounded and humble at the same time (I got your back nonetheless :D).
I wear my heart on my sleeve and my mind on my tongue, so I will always tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to (there's more than a subtle difference to the aforementioned reference). If you are someone who can get up in the morning and look yourself in the eye and embrace yourself for the person you are (kinda like 'you get what you see', no masks or layers; take it or leave it), and believe in bringing about a positive difference in the world, no matter how minuscule it may seem, we should get married.
If intellectual... more conversations over 2 cups of steaming hot tea/coffee/milk/water draws your attention; if long walks coupled with great banter, good food topped with a dash of unwavering love, travel coupled with understated understanding, and a perennial smile immersed in the idea that soulmates do exist, is your idea of a forever, I'd like to be your forever and always.
Yes, i do believe in fairytales and everlasting true love, for I know what it takes to live upto it. A perfect relationship is just two imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other, ever. If you are someone who believes in this ideology,, and seeks goodness in other people rather than highlighting their shortcomings/flaws, I am ready to fly with you.
I am a pretty straightforward and down-to-earth guy, I do believe in dreaming but have my feet firmly rooted in reality. Self-realization is the key to an unbiased perspective. I absolutely adore the color blue. I got an amazing family that is absolutely my pillar, no second thoughts. My dad is a retired scientist (Chief Scientist/Deputy Director) from National Metallurgical Laboratory, one of the foremost metallurgists and materials expert in the nation, my adorable mum is a homemaker with the most vivacious personality I have ever known in a person, my brother works at Intel too, and his wife works in OHSU, one of the pioneers of cancer research, here in the nation.
I am an expressive speaker, that too, and although I am Bengali, my Hindi is probably better than yours (no kidding)
Oh yeah, and unicorns do exist! :)
Take a moment's pause and a deep breath after reading this, and you might find yourself asking this question, "Whew, this guy is so damn demanding." Well, let me clear the air of all doubt, I'm NOT. What you just read is my outlook on life, and this is how I want to live out all my days till the end of time. All I am asking of you, is to be HUMAN; and be true to others the way you are, to yourself. Fill yourself with good thoughts, rather than choke on selfish motives.
Explore the world, be Alive. Be Free. Be Loyal. Be Loving. Laugh to your heart's content. And I will hold your hand through the depths of hell and the gates of heaven, and never let go.
I belong to an upper middle class, nuclear family having liberal outlook. My father has retired while my mother is a homemaker. I have one brother, who is married.
