After my schooling and father's retirement, we relocated to a flat in Kolkata. I have done graduation from West Bengal University of Technology and post-graduation from Jadavpur University in Electrical Engineering. I went on to pursue Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur. I have submitted my thesis and am currently employed in a company in Chennai.

I am soft-hearted and shy by nature. I am selective about who I open up to; but am very friendly once I like the person. I try to lead a simple and healthy lifestyle with homely food, light morning exercise and regular routine. I am a non-vegetarian, but prefer vegetarian food; I have avoided eating meat since last few years. I enjoy cooking and... more like to spend free time reading or watching TV series. I have an inclination towards spirituality.
