Swarna & Ravee
Hello, I am mother of Ravee Mani. I was in dilemma to register Ravee's name in shaadi.com since he was already enlisted with tamilmatrimony.com and the response has been very poor. But somehow with two minds i registered with shaadi.com and got a good response. Not only that swarna iyer (my would be daughter in law) was the first response with shaadi.com and everything went in to the right direction by the blessings of Almighty. Abhijit and I were neither serious about getting married nor serious about finding our match through the Net! When he clicked the enter button on my profile in Feb 2007, he wasn't even sure he would write me a mail! Anyway, one thing led to the other and a long and bitter-sweet story later, we tied the knot on 07/07/07. The same day Taj Mahal was honored as the No. 1 in list of 7 Wonders of the World. No. 7 is having special significance in our life we have 7 Samunder, 7 ajube, 7 sur, 7 indradhanu rang, 7 phere, 7 din. Thanks to Shaadi.com for playing the perfect cupid...we are both so happy and fulfilled to have found each other, its difficult to express in words! After several years of searching, with some frustration, for a life partner in my home country of America and further searching in Europe, I came across a CNN news article describing a website where one could hope to meet Indian women of virtue, family, and a good life perspective, Shaadi.com. I registered with great interest and immediately found such a women from my initial set of search criteria. At first, I was suspicious as to whether such an attractive women could in fact be real. However, after a few emails, we met, luckily living within relatively short distance of each other (I in Manchester, England, her in Leeds). It was clear from our first meetings that she indeed had all of the qualities I was looking for for so long. After a short period of time we agreed to be married and in August of 2007, we had our ceremony in Leeds, England, with the reception for our families to be at Ahmedabad, India in December. We are blessed and very happy. There will be hurdles, but together we will overcome them and be even stronger for it. Thanks to Shaadi.com for helping us make a dream come true! Tony.
