Love-Hate-Love

It has been love-hate-love. I am not talking about "us". I am talking about our relationship with shaadi.com.

I am a Neonatologist based in Australia and had put up my profile in shaadi.com a year ago. Nandini, who heads the USEFYI satellite centre in Ahmedabad, had done it around the same time. But nothing was working out. We were getting disillusioned. This site is "no good" we thought. We had to write some strong emails to "shaadi.com" about this, about that. But still we both stuck it out to give it a "go". I guess may be it is the support they provided, may be it is their attempt to keep improving to provide more ways to make people interact, maybe it is.... We guess it is the idea of "shaadi.com" which paid off eventually - both for "it" and for "us" too.

I am from the south and she is from the north. I speak Thamizh, she Hindi. I am "down under" and she is in the "Gandhi land". But we met. We broke the barriers of geography, language and culture to find love. And it was "shaadi.com" which made it all possible. We have got married. "Hats off" to you "shaadi.com". It was worth the wait after all. We love you.
